Abigail Bell
Associate Manager
Abigail Bell joined the Partnership in February 2009 as an Associate Manager for the Excellence in Government Fellows program.
Abigail has been working on the Excellence in Government Fellows program since May 2006, when it was housed at the Council for Excellence in Government. She currently administers several aspects of the Fellows Program, including identifying the most relevant issues facing government through research and interaction with federal employees. She then collaborates with Coaches in speaker and benchmark outreach, coordinating program logistics and drafting curriculum, agendas and evaluations.
Abigail is also responsible for managing the Fellows Program tuition, providing customer service to the Fellows throughout the year, as well as maintaining relationships with the Senior Fellows Community.
Abigail has worked with more than 450 Fellows and partnered with organizations such as Starbucks, Verizon, U.S. Coast Guard, Baptist Health Hospital System, Harvard Business Review and the San Diego Zoo in creating learning opportunities for the Fellows.
Prior to joining the Excellence in Government Fellows program, she served as a Staff Assistant in the Cincinnati office of U.S. Senator George Voinovich, where she was responsible for researching issues of regional concern in terms of economics, education and local politics, which the Senator reviewed weekly. She also compiled briefing books for the Senator’s trips to Ohio.
Abigail also interned with the Brookings Institution’s Center for Executive Education, where she performed administrative duties for their leadership, Congressional and public policy adult education programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in political science from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.
