Alex Schual-Berke
Program Associate
Alex Schual-Berke joined the Partnership in October 2009 as Program Associate with Education & Outreach and currently works on FedRecruit and FedExperience.
Prior to working at the Partnership, Alex spent two years as Foreign Manager of a private language school in Xianyang, China. In that role he was responsible for personnel, marketing, finance and recruitment. Alex successfully created sustainable HR practices and increased teacher retention by recognizing the need for HR protocol and developed on-boarding and China Orientation programs addressing high attrition rates and worker dissatisfaction. Before moving to China, Alex was Campaign Manager for a Washington State Representative and actively engaged in state political dialogue.
Alex graduated in 2006 from The George Washington University with a B.A. of International Affairs and a concentration in Global Public Health. During his time at GW, Alex interned for Senator Maria Cantwell and Constituency for Africa, was Outreach Assistant for Kabissa – Space for Change in Africa, and rowed on the men’s varsity crew team. Alex is also co-founder and Vice President of the Potomac Growth Fund.
