Sharon King
President, The F.B. Heron Foundation
Sharon B. King is the President of The F.B. Heron Foundation, a grantmaking organization established in 1992 that focuses on wealth creation strategies for low-income people and communities.
Her previous grantmaking experience includes serving as a philanthropic advisor in the Rockefeller Family Office; as President of the Edward W. Hazen Foundation; and as a program officer at The Edna McConnell Clark Foundation.
Ms. Heron currently serves on the Board of the National Committee on Family Philanthropy and as a Trustee of the Altman Foundation. She previously served on the board of the Council on Foundations and the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers.
Ms. King holds a J.D. degree from DePaul University in Chicago, an M.P.A. from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and an A.B. from Manhattanville College in New York.
