The Associate Manager will be responsible for assisting the Government Transformation and Agency Partnerships team in managing two programs focused on helping federal agencies modernize their management systems. The Strategic Advisors to Government Executives (SAGE) program engages a community of former federal executive as subject matter experts to help advise agencies on strengthening their core management functions, and the Shared Services Roundtable program engages public and private shared services providers to develop government-wide solutions to help federal agencies better utilize shared resources.
The Partnership’s Center for Government Leadership (CGL) prepares federal leaders to solve national challenges by driving innovation, inspiring employees and delivering results. In pursuit of that mission, the CGL team works with over 1,000 federal leaders each year through a range of programs.
As a Program Associate with the Center for Government Leadership, you will play a critical role supporting one of our largest programs, the Excellence in Government Fellows (EIG) program, a year-long leadership development program for about 300 GS-14 and GS-15 federal workers from across government.
The Partnership provides medical, dental, and vision coverage to its employees. The Partnerships pays 90% of an individual health care premium and also subsidizes a portion of the premium for child, spousal, or family coverage. Health care coverage begins from the date of hire.
The Partnership offers a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% employer match.
Flexible Spending Account
Partnership employees have the option to participate in a flexible spending account (FSA) and set aside pre-tax funds for medical, transportation and dependent care expenses.
Each full time employee is eligible to accrue 15 days of annual leave per year. After two years with the Partnership, employees accrue up to 17 days of annual leave per year.
Each full time employee is eligible to accrue 10 sick leave days per year.
Administrative paid leave is provided, in addition to annual leave, and sick leave for such things as medical appointments, family emergencies or meeting repair or delivery persons at home.
The Partnership recognizes 11 paid holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving.
Life and Disability Insurance
The Partnership covers its employees with a life insurance policy that will pay an amount equal to an employee’s annual salary, up to $110,000, to designated beneficiaries. The Partnership also provides long and short-term disability insurance for employees.
The Partnership will subsidize 50% of the cost of the building’s gym membership.
