Since its launch in 2019, the AI Federal Leadership Program has spearheaded education opportunities for federal leaders to develop a vision for AI and to begin executing that vision in their agencies. The Partnership has extensive experience delivering leadership development programs that strengthen the capacity of federal employees at all levels. Through a partnership with Microsoft and Google.org, we are creating a cohort of senior leaders across government who are ready to guide their agencies’ AI strategy.

The AI Federal Leadership Program consists of six half-day (3 hours) virtual or in-person sessions throughout the year and is designed to:
  • Educate agency decision-makers on the opportunities around AI.
  • Highlight best practices for how to make the case for and develop AI solutions.
  • Prepare leaders to incorporate AI technology into their strategies and equip their workforce.
We are offering this program at no cost to federal agencies.

Please note that sessions are held at different times of day depending on their format. Applicants will select their preferred format attendance and remain in that cohort for the duration of the program.
  • Sessions for the in-person cohort will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. EST at the Partnership for Public Service office in Washington, D.C.
  • Sessions for the virtual cohort will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. EST on Zoom for Government.
Application deadline: Sept. 20, 2024
