Partnership joins VA and Carry the Load for National Day of Service
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on our nation, the Partnership teamed up with the VA’s National Cemetery Administration and the nonprofit Carry the Load as part of a national day of service on Sept. 10, 2021. Partnership CEO and President Max Stier joined VA Secretary Denis McDonough at a Quantico National Cemetery event, and other Partnership staff volunteered at an event at Alexandria National Cemetery.
How the Department of Veterans Affairs delivered better services during the pandemic
During the early stages of the pandemic, traffic to VA call centers drastically increased as veterans sought critical healthcare information. The VA created a new chatbot to reduce call wait times for customers and provide them with more support and up-to-date medical information.
