The Future of the Data and Digital Workforce

The success of any agency’s journey to boost its data and digital maturity depends on having employees with the right data and digital skills to drive and execute its digital ambition. Ever-evolving expectations for digital customer experience, along with continued competition for talent from the private sector, create challenges for the federal government to grow its data and digital workforce through attracting and retaining the right talent.

Using insights from the latest future of work research, assessments of federal government data and digital maturity, and first-hand experience from expert guests, our workshop will explore trends associated with the future of the data and digital workforce. Together, senior leaders from across agencies will discuss how agencies can prepare for scenarios federal leaders may face in the next 3-5 years. Participants will be able to workshop challenges they are facing around data and digital talent as well as exchange tactical strategies for attracting, growing and retaining digital talent with other senior leaders.

NOTE: THIS SERIES IS OPEN TO GS-12, GS-13, GS-14, GS-15, AND SES FEDERAL EMPLOYEES.
