Bezos gets public service recognition in DC

Amazon.com Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos, along with the United States government’s most innovative employees, was honored Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals recognition at a gala event in Washington DC, the Hill reported on Wednesday. The Partnership for Public Service, organization that hosts the gala, said Bezos was awarded for “the countless ways he and his companies work to advance important fields such as space exploration and national security, as well as help government deliver services more effectively and efficiently.”
