President Donald Trump said in a Sunday interview on CBS’s Face the Nation that he likes having “acting” agency heads rather than permanent ones confirmed by the Senate because that gives him “more flexibility.” If that’s true, then he must love the Labor Department more than he loves the Department of Homeland Security.
