Max Stier, the president and CEO of the Partnership for Public Service, praised President Obama for meeting with government’s senior leaders, expressing his gratitude and support for them, and for committing to building the leadership needed for the future.
“President Obama deserves praise for his strong backing of the government’s senior executives, his commitment to strengthen this all-important federal career leadership corps, and for creating a new program that will allow current and future executives to work across government to solve some of the nation’s most pressing problems, said Max Stier, president and CEO of the Partnership for Public Service.
“This innovative new program will bring needed expertise to many complex, pressing national issues, give current and emerging leaders a broader, enterprise-wide outlook and provide them with invaluable experiences to help improve government effectiveness in future assignments,” said Stier.
