Partnership for Public Service statement on the nomination of Carlos Monje to be undersecretary of transportation for policy

WASHINGTON – The nonpartisan, nonprofit Partnership for Public Service released the following statement from President and CEO Max Stier following the nomination of Carlos Monje to be undersecretary of transportation for policy at the Department of Transportation.
“We applaud President Joe Biden for selecting Carlos Monje to be undersecretary of transportation for policy at the Department of Transportation,” said Max Stier, president and CEO of the Partnership for Public Service. “Monje’s dedication to public service and his extensive experience working on transportation and economic policy issues makes him an excellent choice for this position.”
Stier continued, “I urge the Senate to quickly consider Monje’s nomination so he can get to work helping Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg rebuild the nation’s infrastructure.”
