Partnership for Public Service statement on the nomination of Robin Carnahan for administrator of the General Services Administration

WASHINGTON – The nonpartisan, nonprofit Partnership for Public Service released the following statement from President and CEO Max Stier following Robin Carnahan’s nomination for administrator of the General Services Administration.
“We applaud President Biden for nominating Robin Carnahan for administrator of the General Services Administration,” said Max Stier, president and CEO of the Partnership for Public Service. “Her national reputation as a technology leader alongside her extensive career in public service and at GSA make her an exceptional candidate.”
Stier continued, “I urge the Senate to consider her nomination quickly so she can get to work assisting federal agencies in ways that will translate into better services for the public.”

- Number of employees: 11,355 (as of December 2020)
- 2019 Best Places to Work in the Federal Government score and rank: 75.6 out of 100, ranking 7th out of 25 midsize agencies
- Employee confidence in whistleblower protections: 71.7%, which is 7.2% higher than the government-wide score of 64.5%
- Number of positions requiring Senate confirmation: 2
