Abigail Alpern Fisch produces the Partnership’s podcast, Profiles in Public Service, and provides communications and marketing support for key programs and events. She previously managed and produced the podcast, Voices for Human Needs, while working at the anti-poverty policy nonprofit, Coalition on Human Needs. Abigail is passionate about the power of storytelling to encourage more young people to pursue public service work and to be civically engaged members of their communities. Abigail graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University with a degree in Peace and Justice Studies and a minor in Sociology. Two of Abigail’s favorite public servants include Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman ever to serve in the U.S. Congress, and Congresswoman Ayanna Presley, the first woman of color to be elected to Congress from Massachusetts. Both Congresswomen are former community organizers who continue to be fierce advocates for social and economic justice in their roles as public servants.
