Back to All Staff Bola Akinola Senior Manager she/her Bola Akinola is a facilitator with the Partnership’s Federal Workforce Programs’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility efforts. She is a learning and development leader, with specific interests in equity and inclusion, leadership development, orientation, coaching and employee engagement. Having worked in a multitude of industries (healthcare, publishing, nonprofit, consulting and big tech) her preference is for service-oriented roles that allow her to help guide people as they navigate their career and life journeys. Starting her career as a trainer for customer service and onboarding training events, her interests in educating adult learners have deepened and diversified. The one consistency is the goal of shifting the lens through which professionals view themselves, their roles and the contribution they bring to workplace culture. Her favorite quote is Mahatma Mohandas Gandhi’s, “You MUST be the change you wish to see in the world.”
