Back to All Staff Brodi Fontenot Chief Financial Officer SAGE Co-Chair Brodi Fontenot is currently the CEO of Fontenot Strategic Consulting LLC and is a recognized expert in federal management, federal process improvement, and using performance and budget data to improve agency processes for better results. He is also a Senior Policy Fellow at the Progressive Policy Institute and Adjunct Professor at American University. Fontenot’s extensive federal career includes time as the top management official at two federal departments—as the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Assistant Secretary for Management and nominated to be Treasury’s Chief Financial Officer, and as the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Assistant Secretary for Administration. Fontenot also served as a staff member of the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, where he oversaw and helped guide legislative development of over $70 billion in federal spending and began his federal career at the Government Accountability Office where he analyzed various federal programs for Congress. Fontenot received his BA in History from the University of Houston and his MPA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Back to SAGEs
