Back to All Staff Garric Buzzard Manager he/him Garric Buzzard manages the Partnership’s premier leadership development program, Excellence in Government Fellows. As the son of two career U.S. Air Force Veterans, his passion for service is personally rooted in their examples of selfless commitment to public service. He developed an interest in leadership development for public servants while working in higher education and on a Department of State grant program. Garric’s favorite public servant is Susan Rice, Ambassador to the United Nations, National Security Advisor, and Domestic Policy Council. He witnessed firsthand Ambassador Rice’s dedication to mentoring the next generation of public sector leaders while they both worked at American University.
