James Dennehy Associate

James supports the Excellence in Government Fellows Program and leadership development programs for a number of federal agencies. His love for nonprofit work started when he worked at his first nonprofit while attending Christopher Newport University. He was able to see the incredible impact we could have on supporting survivors of sexual assault across the country through a shared effort with the federal government. This collaboration sparked his belief that great change is possible through effective leadership and collaboration across all sectors. His favorite public servant is Justin Dart Jr., the father of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Throughout his life and work in government, he fought for an inclusive American identity.
