Janica Kaneshiro

Social Media Manager

Janica Kaneshiro supports the communications team as the Social Media Manager. She has previously managed the social media accounts for Booz Allen Hamilton and The No Kid Hungry campaign. Her interest in public service began in high school when she had the opportunity to interview former Senator John Kerry for her journalism club. She has since studied both Journalism and Fine Arts and brings both backgrounds into the work she does today. Her favorite civil servant is Mazie Hirono because she is the first Asian-American woman elected to the Senate, the first U.S. Senator born in Japan and the nation’s first Buddhist senator.
