Jim Seymour Director, Programs and Events

Jim Seymour leads the Partnership’s recognition programs and events that celebrate outstanding federal employees and workplaces, including the Service to America Medals (the “Oscars of government service”), Public Service Recognition Week and the Best Places to Work in the Federal Government awards. Through great professors at the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Jim began an unexpected journey in the nonprofit sector where he has enjoyed working with organizations that have high standards, audacious goals and a strong commitment to their people. In his current work, Jim is inspired by President Theodore Roosevelt’s quote, “We get in the habit of speaking of the government as if it were something apart from us. The government is us—we are the government, you and I.” Come join us.
