Madison Kubinski is responsible for legislation and policy on the pipeline of talent into government agencies. Her passion for government affairs started during her tenure on student governments, where she spent time speaking to local and Michigan state policymakers about college tuition affordability. She also spent a few years working in city governments while working for her Master’s in Public Administration. During her internship with the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Madison gained valuable insight and experience working on issues ranging from IT management to agency reporting requirements.
Madison’s favorite public servants are Sandra Day O’Connor and fictional character, Leslie Knope. Madison portrayed Justice O’Connor in a living wax museum in elementary school, where she was inspired by her glass groundbreaking achievements as the first female Majority Leader of a state senate and the first woman appointed to the Supreme Court. Madison was also motivated by passionate and hardworking Leslie Knope on her favorite show, Parks and Recreation.
