Meg Shelburne is a member of the Research & Analysis team, where she supports a variety of the Partnership’s qualitative research projects. A lifelong American history enthusiast, Meg developed her interest in qualitative research while writing a senior thesis on the interactions between the second-wave feminist movement and political parties in the United States in the 1970s. A stint at the Middlebury Institute for International Studies investigating contemporary political extremism inspired Meg’s commitment to strengthening our federal institutions and renewing the public’s trust in government. Meg’s favorite public servant is John F. Kennedy, whose many iconic speeches as president demonstrated the power of language to inspire the nation to be at its best.
