Rodney Rhodes, Jr. is an Associate with the Public Service Leadership Institute team at the Partnership for Public Service, where he focuses on cultivating effective leadership within the public sector. He graduated from the University of Virginia, where he earned his B.A. in Leadership & Public Policy. His journey in public service began working at his county’s Circuit Court Clerk’s office while in high school, to then interning in the Office of Mayor Levar Stoney in Richmond, VA, and most recently serving with AmeriCorps as a college advisor at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, VA. In unique ways, these experiences have underscored the importance of empowering individuals and communities in order to facilitate positive change. His parents, both dedicated public servants through their army and civilian careers, stand as his favorite examples of public servants.
