Georgetown alumni recognized for excellence in government service

Four Georgetown alumni are finalists for the 2020 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal, also known as the “Oscars of government service.” These awards honor “the unsung heroes in our federal government who have made phenomenal contributions to the health, safety, and prosperity of our country,” according to the Partnership for Public Service, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that champions effective government service.
