LEARN MORE Technology Modernization The public needs an effective federal government that delivers modern services that meet the increased expectations of the digital era. Delivering these services, regardless of their design or purpose, depends on the use of modern technology tools and practices. While the federal government has made great strides in recent years towards modernizing its services, it is still stifled by legacy technology systems, outdated technology management practices, and difficulties in recruiting and retaining qualified technology experts. To help our government meet these challenges, we conduct research and provide programming that highlights best practices and outlines strategies to recruit and retain essential tech experts. We equip and train federal leaders to use technology more effectively, both in their services and in the workplace, and provide agencies with the tech talent they need to serve the public.
