Rebuilding Our Institutions: A Conversation with Democracy’s Caretakers

To celebrate Public Service Recognition Week, the Partnership is hosting a virtual event on Thursday, May 6, from 12–1 p.m. EDT featuring a special panel discussion with four former national security leaders:

  • Fiona Hill, former deputy assistant to the president and senior director for European and Russian affairs on the National Security Council.
  • William B. Taylor, former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.
  • Alexander Vindman, former director for European affairs for the National Security Council.
  • Marie Yovanovitch, former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.

In a discussion moderated by James Hohmann, an opinion columnist for The Washington Post, the panelists will talk about what it means to lead in government, why it is time for a renewed call to public service, and how Congress and the federal workforce can help rebuild our democratic institutions.

You can view the event on the Partnership’s YouTube.
