Partnership for Public Service Statement on 2016 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey Results

September 20, 2016

WASHINGTON – Partnership for Public Service President and CEO Max Stier released the following statement regarding the results of the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) 2016 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS).

“I am pleased to see that overall employee satisfaction and commitment across the federal government improved for the second year in a row,” said Max Stier, president and CEO of the Partnership for Public Service. “This positive uptick is a testament to agency leaders’ commitment to improving employee engagement. The employee voice, measured through this important metric, is one of the most powerful tools that federal agencies have for understanding their organizations. Thank you to OPM and the agency’s entire Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey team for the vital work that goes in to making this annual undertaking possible.”

The Partnership’s Best Places to Work in the Federal Government® rankings are based on data from this annual federal employee survey. The 2016 Best Places to Work rankings will be released later this year. For more information, visit bestplacestowork.org.
