Partnership for Public Service statement on Jeff Zients’ tenure as White House coronavirus coordinator

WASHINGTON – The nonpartisan, nonprofit Partnership for Public Service released the following statement from President and CEO Max Stier after the White House announced that Jeff Zients would step down next month from his role as the nation’s COVID-19 response coordinator: 

“There is no question that Jeff Zients’ leadership of our nation’s pandemic response has protected the health and livelihood of countless Americans. As someone who has served in multiple critical federal roles, requiring him to solve complex national challenges, Jeff exemplifies selfless public service. We express our gratitude to Jeff for his tireless work and we wish him the best in his next endeavor.”
