Brandon Wales was recognized in 2022 for his work in protecting government and commercial computer networks from highly sophisticated and damaging cyberattacks, safeguarding the COVID-19 vaccine supply chain and reducing the risks of devastating ransomware attacks. His story was selected by Green Archer Comics to be part of “Newbie-ginnings: A Cyber Security Comics Anthology,” which showcases the diverse job opportunities in the field, lessons in cyber literacy, and day-in-the-life of federal cybersecurity leaders.
