On March 6th, 2007, Partnership President and CEO, Max Stier, spoke before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government on federal workforce issues. Stier’s recommendations included focusing on leadership and management, devoting more resources to training and existing workforce management tools, and using better measures to assess government’s hiring, retention and overall management.
