The Partnership submitted an official statement for the record for the October 17, 2007, joint House Ways and Means Subcommittee hearing on the Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2007. The Partnership argued that the language in H.R. 2363 complements many of the objectives of the Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2007 and urged the Subcommittees to consider incorporating the GOFEDS language into the Heroes bill.
