Partnership President and CEO, Max Stier, testified before the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee on pending legislation that would make it easier to fire federal employees at VA. In his testimony, Stier said that moving to “at will” employment is not the answer to problems at VA, instead it will return us to a “spoils system” of over a century ago. Stier offered specific feedback on pending legislation and additional recommendations for strengthening management and accountability at VA.
