On Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, the Partnership hosted the 21^st annual Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals® at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Seven individual federal employees and teams were recognized during the Sammies program, the premier celebration of our nation’s public servants.

Congratulations to Josh Josa of the U.S. Agency for International Development, the winner of the 2022 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals® People’s Choice Award. The Partnership’s Jordan LaPier interviewed Josa and discussed how he has leveraged U.S. resources and influence to promote educational opportunities in developing nations for children and youth with disabilities.

The Partnership held a special event on June 22, 2022, to celebrate The G Word—a Netflix docuseries that demonstrates how integral our government is to the most important aspects of our daily lives. The event featured a panel discussion with Adam Conover, Jamie Rhome and Ada Chiaghana.
