On Nov. 1, the star-studded Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals® program honored exceptional federal employees whose work is improving the our country. President Biden joined the celebration to congratulate the Sammies winners, and Samantha Bee, Mark Cuban, Kal Penn, Amy Schumer and more actors, celebrities, journalists and athletes joined for a special tribute to Federal Employee of the Year winners Kizzmekia Corbett and Dr. Barney Graham.

On Oct. 28, the Partnership for Public Service hosted the 20th annual Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals® at the Kennedy Center, honoring some of our nation’s most exceptional federal employees. Attendees included agency secretaries, deputy secretaries and undersecretaries, members of Congress, national and local business leaders, Sammies finalists, and others from the private, public and nonprofit sectors.

A group of 2021 Service to America Medals finalists were honored on-field during a recent Washington Nationals game. The finalists met Nationals Racing President Thomas Jefferson, appeared on the scoreboard’s screen and were cheered by more than 33,000 fans.
