Back to All Staff Abigail Fisher Associate she/her Abigail Fisher is a member of the Public Service Leadership Institute, supporting federal leadership initiatives including the Excellence in Government Fellows Program, Foundation in Public Service Leadership, and agency engagements. Her love for mission-driven nonprofit work began in high school helping participate and lead service events with youth in low-income communities throughout Ohio, which showed her the importance of empowering young people. Abigail’s undergraduate experience at Elon University opened her eyes to the world of driving positive change through policy, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and leadership development. Her favorite public servant is Alexandria Osacio-Cortez, the youngest woman elected to Congress, and a true advocate for social and economic barriers that many Americans. Teachers are also Abigail’s favorite public servants because they are the backbone to educating, mentoring, and guiding the new generations to come.
