Back to All Staff Catherine Wilson Senior Communications and Programs Manager Catherine Wilson is a senior communications and programs manager at the Partnership for Public Service. At the Partnership, she oversees our in-house events team and leads the strategic planning and execution of various signature events, including the annual Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals – otherwise known as the Sammies. Most recently at GovExec, Catherine has a passion for telling the stories of leaders from across the public sector and amplifying the critical work that federal, defense, and state and local agencies do for our nation. She is excited to continue to uplift the contributions of public servants through the Sammies. Catherine’s favorite public servant is Carla Hayden, the 14th librarian of Congress. Hayden, who is both the first African American and the first woman in the role, has used her career to demonstrate the important role libraries play in creating community and protecting democracy.
