Back to All Staff Evy Vannoy Associate Manager they/she Evy Vannoy works on the Public Service Leadership Institute team, helping to lead projects including the Foundations of Public Service Leadership program and other tailored agency engagements to support the development of leadership capacity for federal employees from various agencies. Evy previously worked at a nonprofit that ran international exchange programs for the State Department, which revealed to them the need for greater support for public servants to maximize effectiveness in their roles. As many of their friends and family entered public service, Evy’s passion for nonprofit work morphed into a desire to support the federal workers who she believes are the backbone of community change. Evy’s favorite public servant is the late Representative John Lewis, who worked tirelessly to advance civil rights both in the community through non-violent activism and in the halls of congress via policymaking.
