Back to All Staff Helena Colborn Press and Social Media Associate Helena Colborn leads media tracking and reporting, supports strategic communication strategies and leverages social media to drive attention to the Partnership’s media presence. Her interest in government originated in her previous role at a public relations firm supporting small and mid-sized government contractors, where she bridged communication, industry research, and data analysis with crafting engaging content. Helena’s favorite public servant is Judy Heumann, a prominent disability rights activist whose advocacy championed the Americans with Disabilities Act. She also served as the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services under the Clinton Administration, and the first Special Advisor for International Disability Rights at the Department of State under the Obama Administration.
