Rebecca Arce is a member of the Public Service Leadership Institute, supporting federal leadership initiatives including custom engagements with the Department of Labor, the Excellence in Government Fellows Program, and the Foundations in Public Service Leadership Program. Her passion for effective governance and tackling systemic inequality began when she majored in International Development Studies at the University of King’s College, with a specific interest in improving women and girls’ development through an intersectional approach. She has since developed experience in these areas by working as a Women in Science STEAM counselor in Estonia for the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up program, as well as interning on the MEL and Women and Girls Empowered team at the American Bar Association. Her favorite public servant is Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman and Latina to serve in the United States Congress.
