Sidney Grimsley is an Associate and Wellde Fellow at the Public Service Leadership Institute, working on the DHS Capstone, Excellence in Government, and Preparing to Lead teams. Her passion for public service began with her work in gun violence prevention as a college director for March For Our Lives and as a Student Lobbyist for Team ENOUGH. Sidney continued to gain international affairs and policy-oriented experience as an intern at the office of Hawaii Senator Brian Schatz and the Italian think tank Centro di Politica Internazionale. She graduated from George Washington University with a degree in International Affairs. Her favorite public servant is former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, a champion for gun violence prevention and research-based advocacy.
