Back to All Staff Tom Hixon Manager Tom Hixon partners with federal agencies to identify solutions that build leadership capacity, strengthen employee engagement, promote cultural transformation, and strengthen hiring and recruitment strategies while also focusing on internal process improvement measures for the Partnership. Tom has been interested in public service since a young age beginning with various youth development organizations and attaining his degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida where he commissioned as a Marine Corps Officer. He served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps from 2014-2022, on both active duty and in the Marine Corps Reserves and has also worked as a federal contractor for the US Navy and in local government. He is currently pursuing both a Master of Public Administration and Master of Nonprofit Management degree from the University of Central Florida where he gets to blend his passions for public service. Tom’s favorite public servant is the fictional character Ben Wyatt from NBC’s Parks and Recreation, as he shows us that our failures are a bruise, not a tattoo and they do not have to define our future if we let our passions guide us.
