Steven Jones is a consultant, executive coach and results-based facilitator with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in working with leaders and their teams to develop attitudes, skills and practices that promote responsible and sustainable high performance. His clients include leaders and teams in the federal government, the banking industry, large foundations and other social sector organizations. In today’s fast-changing world, Steven combines his expertise in adult learning and organizational systems to help his clients stretch and build their effectiveness. He brings humor, insightfulness and care to his work with leaders, partnering with them to:

Experience

Leadership coach and facilitator working with 50 Food and Drug Administration leaders in the modernization and transformation of Freedom of Information Act processes. The team received an award for outstanding achievement in reengineering information disclosure. Co-founder of the Results Based Facilitation Network. He has trained and coached over 1,000 cross-sector and community leaders in facilitating to achieve results in partnership. Co-lead in building partnerships with leaders and employees to realize the transformation of external and internal client service delivery Steven is a contributing member of the International Coaching Federation award-winning coaching team for working with U.S. National Geospatial Administration executives. For a decade, he developed IRS managers’ and analysts’ capacity to navigate change within teams that support internal and external customers. He has guided the intensive development of over 700 federal leaders and facilitated the achievement of results for more than 2,000 leaders across sectors. The co-author of “Growing Groups into Teams,” he blogs on LinkedIn about generative and ontological practices. Leaders can learn and grow by creating futures that achieve desired outcomes

Steven hails from Chicago, where he honed his love of theater, visual arts, film and jazz. He is committed to opening possibilities that help people know and live their value. He writes and blogs on bringing love and care to workplaces. He is a proud husband, uncle and godfather who enjoys beaches and traveling nationally and internationally. Steven and his spouse reside in Silver Spring, Maryland.
