Public servants deliver vital services that keep our country safe, healthy and prosperous.
However, the government has often struggled to recruit, hire and retain talent—a trend exacerbated by recent efforts to fundamentally reshape the nonpartisan federal civil service.
To strengthen our government’s talent base, we create pathways into federal, state and local government and work with agencies to design and implement new recruitment and retention strategies. We also help job seekers and university career development professionals explore government careers and better understand the hiring process.
The Partnership for Public Service has for 25 years been a stalwart champion of pathways for service into the federal government.
