Please join the Partnership for Public Services’ Federal Data Excellence Program and USAFacts on August 26 at 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. for a discussion with federal AI professionals from across government on USAFacts’ framework on making federal data AI ready.

The Federal Data Excellence program aims to guide the creation of timely, accessible and usable data products, recognize standout federal data products, and bring members of the federal data community together.

With Americans increasingly relying on AI tools to ask questions about the government, it is vital that those tools can access, train on, and accurately cite government data. This requires making government data AI-ready – not just accessible, but understandable. USAFacts has drafted a framework for AI-ready government data, based on learnings from building AI tools that consistently cite government data accurately and with proper context. During this roundtable discussion, USAFacts will present their draft framework and facilitate a conversation on how government data should change in the age of AI. Topics we will cover include agentic access, context, and evaluations, and more.

This facilitated discussion will offer federal AI experts an opportunity to review USAFacts’ framework and provide feedback on the content, learn from colleagues in the federal AI community and discuss the future of AI and data.

Target audience

Federal AI leaders and strategic thinkers in the government AI community. Please pass this invitation on to others who might be interested in attending
