Sept. 23: Public trust in the federal government

Drawing from six years of Partnership research, we’ll cover data on how the public currently views government, the reasons behind those views and how those views have evolved in recent years.

Oct. 20: The public’s opposition to the Trump administration’s cuts to government

Does the public agree with cuts made to government? In the second installment of the series, we’ll explore how Americans view the current administration’s efforts to dismantle federal institutions and disrupt agency work. Utilizing recent research from the Partnership, we’ll look at where public opinion stands and how Americans have been impacted by unprecedented funding and workforce cuts.

Nov. 10: Advice for talking about the work of the federal government with the public

How can this research be applied to effect change? In the final installment of the series, we’ll share insights on how to effectively communicate about the work and role of the federal government with the American people. Highlighting results from our surveys, we’ll discuss what the public wants from its government and draw on a variety of sources to explain what drives the public’s views.
