Carla Reece faithfully fulfilled the role of City Clerk for the City of Tempe during challenging periods marked by a number of contentious issues. Throughout her tenure, she consistently demonstrated respect for residents, city staff, and other stakeholders. Her conduct exuded dignity, and she maintained an open ear to all ideas presented. With over two decades of work across diverse services including public safety, municipal clerk, fire districts, human resources, etc. Carla has also dedicated herself to numerous community volunteer endeavors, consistently offering support wherever it was needed. Her integrity, grit, dedication and compassion are her hallmarks and a key factor in her career success in the public service sector.
Thank You to our military, government leaders and teammates! Coming from the private sector, I have quickly learned the ways of the public sector. I appreciate those who have invested in me and I am proud to be part of this service.

I would like to thank my Deputy Commissioner, Leslie Zimmerman, and Assistant Commissioner, Agnes Rusin, here at the NYC Department of Finance. These two leaders have been role models for women in public service. They work hard, dedicate themselves to continuous improvement, but most importantly, they support and coach me to become a better public servant. They not only serve the public but also empower managers like me to become the best each day. Public service is about helping others and being unselfish, and these two women embody those qualities.

The National City SSA Team is a true work family that strives to offer optimal customer service. We celebrate our team who impacts our community in the most positive way.
It is not all that often that there is a public service team that embodies the spirit of the term, "public service". However, in King County, WA the Licensing team truly holds those words to heart. They are about the most caring group of individuals I have ever come across in any public service organization. They are dedicated to each customer they serve and take personal responsibility in ensuring that those customer's needs are met. They truly care about each individual as they serve them but also, they deeply care for the general public and the citizens of the county in which they serve. King County follows a set of values called, "True North" which encompasses the belief that the employees want to make King County a welcoming community where every person can thrive. Two of those values that the Licensing team holds close to their hearts are, "We focus on the customer" and "We respect all people". The Licensing team sets the bar for what outstanding public service should look like and should be applauded for their efforts! Great job King County Licensing, we all thank you for your dedication, kindness and service!
I want to Thank my Outstanding Team Lead Ersan Elmas, he has been extremely dedicated to his team and is always available to assist his team members. He is the epitome of a true outstanding team member and makes working for the VA with all the high demand workload much easier. He has been there for me in times of high stress and I want to personally thank him for his dedication to his team and to our Veterans and for his hard work and dedication to our mission in taking care of Veterans.
This goes out to my mother Dr. Linda Clark who just recently retired after working 30 plus years for the DoD, thank you mom for supporting me my entire life not only when things were going good but also when things were not looking so good for me. Your service has inspired me and I am enterally grateful to you for never giving up on me and always being in my corner in this fight we call life. Thanks mom and enjoy a well-deserved retirement playing Wordle and traveling around the world!!
