It's been a little over a year since I was introduced to you Kevin. You embody the Spartan Spirit, "He who sweats more in training, bleeds less in battle". This quote emphasizes the Spartan philosophy that rigorous training and preparation can reduce casualties in actual battle. Kevin, throughout your career, you have exemplified the importance of discipline and readiness.

I would like to say Thank you to an amazing Public Servant by the name of Paul Deyoung, Register of Deeds For VanBuren County Michigan. He always goes above and beyond in his duties as Register of Deeds. He is always participating and giving time to many organizations and communities that he serves. Paul Deyoung is a true pillar of Civic Duty, and I am proud to acknowledge him on this fantastic week of celebration and recognition. Respectfully Marcos M. Flores, Of Paw Paw Michigan

Carla Reece faithfully fulfilled the role of City Clerk for the City of Tempe during challenging periods marked by a number of contentious issues. Throughout her tenure, she consistently demonstrated respect for residents, city staff, and other stakeholders. Her conduct exuded dignity, and she maintained an open ear to all ideas presented. With over two decades of work across diverse services including public safety, municipal clerk, fire districts, human resources, etc. Carla has also dedicated herself to numerous community volunteer endeavors, consistently offering support wherever it was needed. Her integrity, grit, dedication and compassion are her hallmarks and a key factor in her career success in the public service sector.

It is with gratitude that I serve our state of North Dakota. I have been serving the state of ND for over 30 years and feel very fortunate. We do the best for our claimants and keep their needs at the forefront. I would like to thank Sheri Seil, my director for her support and encouragement and Kari Kramer and Brenda Rouse for their knowledge. And Toni Zankowski and her crew for the clerical duties that keep our agency running effectively. Also , to Kelly Lawson, our IT person who keeps everyone running smoothly and of course, the examiners for their hard work and dedication and without them, our agency would be in turmoil.

Dorie Meske ND
