Public Science Serves Us
Federal science helps keep us healthier, safer and stronger. Join us in sharing why we need public science to protect our health, environment and future.
For decades, federal employees have driven major breakthroughs in science, conservation and medicine. From pioneering immunotherapy for previously untreatable cancers to building the world’s most powerful supercomputer and caring for our public lands, federal employees make our lives better and our nation more prosperous and secure.
The recent unraveling of public science—marked by a massive loss of federal civil servants in science, public health and environmental fields, along with canceled funding for critical research in medicine, food safety and resource management—threatens decades of progress and puts us all at risk.
Now is the time to unite and highlight how public science saves lives, protects our health and strengthens communities.
